Waking Up to the Ethical Imperative

In this video from our ISC Inaugural Meeting held in June of 2005, participants express a desire to act for the service of mankind to alleviate suffering. How can we express our awareness, our Big Heart, in a way that takes concrete steps to improve the physical and economic hardships experienced throughout the world? And can we include all suffering, the suffering arising from the struggle to physically survive, and the struggle of the inner alienation and emptiness experienced in this country; the suffering that comes from insufficient material wealth, and the suffering that comes from insufficient inner wealth? Both are forms of suffering. An Integral model includes both.
