Evolution to Integral, One Business at a Time

Evolution toward Integral levels of development may happen most rapidly in the business sector. Business can adopt Integral practices more swiftly and the feedback is direct and immediate: a business either works or it doesn’t. Business operates to some degree on the survival of the fittest, and the fittest, as is the case with Whole Foods Market, is turning out to be Integral. The only obstacle seems to be the notion that some at the leading edge believe, that business itself is somehow bad. However, business is merely a structure, a container, devoid of content, that can be filled with any idea and level of ethical standards, and when Integral ethics are poured into a business structure, the results are well, Integral…reflected not only in the bottom line, but also in every aspect of the business, including the health and well-being of all those directly involved.
