Spiral dynamics test
Posted September 9th, 2008 by Ev Miles in response to Psychograph or similar test?Hi Barbi,
there is a Spiral Dynamics test online that is available called People Scan. I have not taken, but I know someone that did and said it was useful.
Hopefully, Integral Institute will be working through the Jane Lovinger test and destilling it down to something a bit easier to deal with, but I have not heard when.
Ciao,

People Scan
Posted September 30th, 2008 by Oz DiGennaro in response to Spiral dynamics testThe cost is noticeable: 50 - 100 USD depending on options. It looks professional, but I have to have a good reason to spend the money.

Assessing Development Level
Posted September 30th, 2008 by Oz DiGennaro in response to Psychograph or similar test?Of course, it's fascinating and stimulating to assess my own development level. I won't tell my conclusions, because of the great risk of error.
My wife and I each applied a set of multiple-intelligence scales. Separately, we each assessed ourselves, and then assessed the other. Then we compared. The results were surprisingly consistent, among all four assessments. (We do seem compatible...)
I did similar level assessments with several friends who are knowledgeable in Things Integral. We compared our attitudes and actions and plans. Again, the results were surprisingly consistent.
Not scientific - but probably reasonable. This could be implemented on a "social" web site, where I rate myself and others rate me. Trust is an issue here. Perhaps my rating of myself would be hidden to make it anonymous. (It's like asking for a salary figure - the penalties for asking too high or too low are noticeable.)
A really good survey could be very useful, especially if compared with my "social" method. If I got a rating, I would like to be able to ask "what made me rate high?" Or, "if I changed this attitude, would I rate higher" (There are life expectancy sites that make for fun past-times.)

some recommendations
Posted October 27th, 2008 by Jerry Sherwood in response to Psychograph or similar test?I do not know of any full psychographs yet. However I can recommend a couple of test.
I have taken and can recommend the SC Ti-MAP or LDP (Leadership Development Profile) from Cook-Greuter&Assoc. The test is an expansion/refinement of the Lovinger sentence completion test. With well over 7,000 profiles the test has been well documented and validated. It was developed by Susanne Cook-Greuter. Ken speaks very highly of her work and I believe she was among the founders of Integral Institute.
Find out more at www.cook-greuter.com/
I have also taken the Spiritual Intelligence Assesment developed by Cindy Wigglesworth at Conscious Pursuits. I found it useful and I subsequently became certified as an SQ coach. I include it as part of a coaching program I offer. But the test is also available directly from Conscious Pursuits at www.consciouspursuits.com/ with no coaching requirements.
This test measures the Spiritual Line of development by looking at spiritual skills in four area: Ego self Awareness, Universal Awareness, Ego self Mastery, and Social Mastery (roughly 5 skills measure in each) Cindy developed the test in conjunction with professionals in assesment and has just recently completed a study with Cook-Greuter & Assoc to see how the two test relate to each other and help determine its value as a reliable measurement. I have looked at the results and its appears to be a validation of the efficacy of the test.
Hope this is helpful

Spiritual Intelligence Assessment Test
Posted June 16th, 2009 by JASON DUNLAP in response to some recommendationsI went to: Find out more at www.cook-greuter.com/ and checked out the Spiritual Intelligence Assessment Test (SCTi) and was floored by the price! Maybe I just don't appreciate the value or work that goes into such things but at $325 it seems a bit much and they'll rush it within 10 days for another $100. If everybody did that, I wonder how long it would take to get mine at only $325. Sorry for the criticism, but I don't see the value and they don't explain it to well either.
I would think someone could come up with the test that would be free. What's the problem?
