Is love your life's primary motivation?

Love is one of Integral Life's core values.  Some companies may be shy or wary of professing that love is one of their guiding values.  But the human experience is intrinsically tied to love - whether love of self, love of others, love of things, etc. - love is a primary motivator of the human spirit

How do you relate to love?
Do you see love at work in human evolution?
When is your own sense of love strongest?
When is it the weakest?

Where the heart and head collide

My primary guiding value at this time in my life is Integrity, and I've come to define it as when what I'm feeling on the inside matches my actions on the outside... that's what I'm aiming for at least.  Another way I look at it is when my intuition and my rational mind work in congress.  That's how I currently relate to Love.

Intuition is a powerful force, but when acted on thoughtlessly or lacking in skillfullness it can be dangerous; while operating only based on logic and rationality can feel disconnected and empty.  When I feel that I'm tapping into what looks right and what also feels right, I get an attittude of "all systems go" giving me the confidence that my action is blessed by my clearest sense and deepest insight.

From fear to love

Yes, I think that love is a primary motivation of mine. And I am also fearful. Allthough the Integral Community does a wonderful job, I miss the awarenes of fear (or prayer for love) in how values are described at ie Integral Life. We talk about self awarenes, authenticity, love etc. But do we dare to bring in the also ever present fear, not only the distant shadow of yesterdays? Do we dare to describe in more detail how love and fear are expressed in the right hand quadrants?

Our motivation to do stuff emantes from our emotions, and they can basically be described as fear and love. I enclose an article on motivation. Comments are welcome.
