What kind of subtle energy do you experience?

How does this inform your feelings or behaviors? Do you struggle to feel it at all, or do you have trouble discerning it in the moment? Can you offer practices to help others to experience this more in their lives?

Open as Love

I have had Lyme Disease for many years. The result has been neurological damage, difficulty walking, pain, fatigue, seizures, etc.   In order to cope with these limitations I’ve had to choose how I am going to respond. It’s very easy when in pain to respond to others with irritation, apathy, or even anger. I feel better and my life works better if I respond with love. Choosing to respond with love makes me very aware that unless I am very in touch with the subtler parts of my being, I can’t do this. I’ve found that a daily practice that includes a type of physical yoga that is focused on increasing my ability to meditate, i.e. relaxing the spine to release subtle physical and emotional tensions, increases the flow of kundalini energy, improves my physical fitness despite my limitations with exercise, eases the pain, and helps keep me in touch with the deeper, more loving aspects of my being. Adding daily reading of spiritual texts allows me to “feel” the states inhabited by the authors, further accentuating my ability to feel into my own higher states. The couple of hours I spend each day in these practices has allowed me to use my physical difficulties as a gift pointing me to ever richer parts of my being, much better than rolling up in the fetal position and crying – something I’ve also tried.

Subtle energy - My guide to wisdom

I am practicing Tai Chi in the last 8 years. 4 years ago I participated Vipasana course for 10 days in silence. On the 8th day a flow started in my body. The flow never left me for one second from than on . I learned how to control the Chi, to navigate in inside my body. It is a natural pain reliever. Today this subtle energy is my guide to wisdon. It's change in flow helps me to understand when I am on my path and when I am on the wrong direction. I have a skin desease for many years . With the attention to the flow of energy this desease disappear for more than 2 years now.

The exercises that create the highest level of flow for me are Chen Chuan - Zen standings for 2-3 minutes each posture.

Sofia Diaz postures have a lot in common with these standings. Also very strong Chi accelerator for me  is Bagua (Soft Internal Chinese Martial Art)trainning.

Thank you for Tozan 5 ranks body expression.

Kashmir Meditations

--I had a particularly strong experience with the Kashmir Meditation on part 4. As i am typing this i can still feel warm palms of energy seeping through my crown and into my center. I think that guided meditations like this are very useful because you don't have to remember what your next step is, you can just get lost and immersed in the experience. I felt that my visualizations were somewhat imagined but the sensations of energy that they evoked were indeed very visceral.

If you had trouble with these types of meditations i suggest just trying it again. Don't get worried about what is imaginary and what is real. What is the difference anyway?
