What is the most challenging aspect of adopting an Integral Life Practice into your life?

Is it time, relationships, money, motivation, lack of a good space, energy or something else? How does it make you feel when you face the challenge? How do you combat the challenge?

Not so much a challenge as a..............

Hi,

I am quite new at this and still trying to understand and integrate. I am quite open to new approaches to the Relative, not particularly dogmatic since infinite possibilities present themselves at every moment and I just like to be with the flow. All that said, I detect a reaction in me to the intellectual dryness of the whole thing. All very interesting, clever, informed and dry with academic pondus. Now again, I am not against philosophical reasonings  and reflection per se, quite the contrary, we must make good use of these in order to communicate clearly, but what I find lacking in so many of these Forums, although not in all by any means, is the "juice" of an enlightened live or that which aspires to be an enlightened live, which for me it means that which enchants and enthralls.

It is my deep-felt feeling that if a new world-view is to emerge forcefully and meaningfully, it will have to integrate also this side of things, this "poetic" kind of communicative language. A more meaningful way of communicating the Ultimate to the Relative. This has always been done beautifully by all spiritual traditions and it is that which inspires the most and conveys the greatest and deepest truths. A language which will appeal not only to the philosophical/rational  in us but also to the aesthetic/spiritual.

I continue to read and hopefully integrate all these new things, but I often find myself inwardly saying "Dry, dry, much too dry!"
