Lin Dunbrack

Lin has worked as a hospice volunteer for the past five years doing direct service, training new hospice workers, serving as a lay chaplain and bereavement support group facilitator. Lin is a student of Daniel P. Brown in the Mahamudra lineage of Tibetan Buddhism. In addition, she studies the Western Alchemical traditions and Integral Studies which are now both finding fertile ground and are taking root in The Tapestry Initiative.

As Founder of the Tapestry Initiative, Lin enjoys exploring various creative impulses on the seacoast of New Hampshire in her inner and outer laboratories. As an assemblage artist, Lin enjoys investigating the multi leveled, alchemical effects of recombining castoff ordinary objects. This inspiration grew to include her life long inquiry involving death and dying and the way we are able to find value and meaning in life's transitions.

At the core, Lin considers Death to be her root teacher that keeps her on the edge of most questions that arise. It’s on this edge that she is honored to serve in relationships that are by necessity deep and authentic, mysterious and incredibly learningful. Engaging in the flow through the practice of conscious living, fueled by grace through contemplation, prayer, meditation, art and wild dancing, the tapestry keeps growing.
