Maya Hill

Maya was born in the country side of Zurich Switzerland and spent her youth there. She studied Podiatry and her love for the human body translated into her first sculptures already then. As a young women, throughout the 80’s she travelled widely, living in France, Italy, Japan and Argentina. At the age of 31 she came to California to study Polarity therapy and Nutrition. She kept sculpting as an exploration of perceptions beyond the hands-on work in therapy. Motherhood and later her experience as a single Mom translated into the successful commercial line “Forms of the Feminine Spirit”. She is now working on a line of sculptures expressing a newly emerging world spirituality and on her certification with Integral Theory.

"Sculptures can be grounding and a real anchor for the integration of an emerging resolve. It is a communication that is tactile, a basic structural orientation in the service of each individual's own practice in his/ her evolutionary growth and integration. It is my intent to sculpt these stations of Beauty and Love along the horizon of greater and deeper connection and to provide a little stability wherever we are on this path within Kosmic creativity...."
