Stuart Davis

"Without exaggeration, Stuart Davis is one of the most fascinating and exceptional songwriters in modern music." -San Jose Metro

Davis' career has been nothing if not surprising and iconoclastic. His passionate fan base has always gone to incredible lengths to participate in his multi-media career, including support from hundreds of investors and volunteers.

In addition to artistic circles, Davis has practiced Zen Buddhism with Genpo Roshi, and has held close ties to figures in philosophy and spirituality. Perhaps partly because of this, work has defied easy categorization; the artist constructed his own language (IS), writes, acts, and directs an original comedy series (the Stuart Davis Show), authored a forthcoming book for Shambhala / Random House (Sex, God, Rock 'n Roll, edited by Ken Wilber), released two volume audio book (Love Has No Opposite), is a prolific painter, and has performed over 1,000 concerts in the U.S. and Europe. His main focus - music - has included the release of a dozen albums. Davis has sold over 60,000 copies without retail distribution or label support. He's thrived, but seemingly off the radar.

Davis' newest album, Something Simple, released in March 2008, had a major kick start, with its first single being prominently featured in the major motion picture Drill Bit Taylor, starring Owen Wilson.

"Beautiful Place" is the first single from Stuart's new album, Music for Mortals. It will be released to commercial radio nationally at the end of the month. You heard it here first! "My father passed away recently, and I was blessed to be with him through the process. In the past year, as I felt that painful milestone approaching, I explored the ache and wonder by creating the songs on this new album. The song Beautiful Place was written as I tried to feel my way into the mysteries and gifts only afforded us in death." –Stuart Davis

UFOlogy has long been plagued with sloppy research and slippery testimony from sketchy sources. But in recent years it has transformed, reshaped by first person testimony from high caliber eyewitnesses. They originate from all corners of the globe, and put their names—and sometimes their lives—on the line in order to reveal what they generally describe as a tragic, calamitous cover-up.
