Venita Ramirez
A partner and faculty member with Pacific Integral, Venita Ramirez brings twenty-five years experience in body-oriented psychology, non-dual/tantric practices, human development, group transformational processes, and integral theory. In addition to teaching, she coaches individuals internationally on later states and stages of development, integrating and releasing shadow aspects as they arise. “For me when it comes down to it, everything is dissolved back into an ever-present, space-less and timeless benevolent presence/love. That is who I am. And that is who you are.” Her websites are www.pacificintegral.com and www.venitaramirez.com.
Over the last twenty-five years Venita Ramirez has studied and explored psychodynamic and body-centered approaches to psychology, including gestalt, psychodrama, Reichian breathing and bioenergetics. Simultaneously, she has practiced and studied in the areas of subtle energies, eastern philosophies, relational and emotional intelligence, and transpersonal states and stages of consciousness. She has worked as a family therapist for inner-city youth in Boston, and as director of professional training for The Gottman Institute, a research-based clinical training program for therapists. Venita has extensive practice with authentic relationship and communication models with both individuals and groups, focusing on self-responsibility and self-awareness. A therapist and coach since 1985, one of her primary methodologies in her private practice is conscious breathing. Through conscious breathing shadow material can be accessed and released, bringing more ease and grace to the physical body, opening space in the subtle energy field for healthier relationships, and awakening the self to embodied spirit through causal, subtle and physical awareness.
In her work at Pacific Integral, Venita brings an awareness of the subtle and causal states and energy fields of individuals and of the collective cohort. She brings this same capacity to her relationships with other conscious leaders and visionaries worldwide who are moved to collaborate in service to all. In addition to her partnership with Geoff and Terri at Pacific Integral Venita is a founding board member of the Developmental Research Institute, an adjunct faculty member in the graduate psychology program at Antioch University and teaches a non-dual facilitation course for coaches and consultants. She holds degrees in Business and Psychology and has been a student of Integral Theory for over twenty years.
