Integral Spiritual Experience has been designed as a circular 5 year journey that moves from the deeply personal in year 1, proceeds through the universal in year 3, and returns back again to the personal in year 5.  Each year ends with the foundation lain for the following year, and the entire 5 year process recapitulates the dialectical arc of human spiritual exploration and practice itself. 

As a five-year journey, we ask each member who attends Integral Spiritual Experience to make a heartfelt commitment to the exploration. This may be one of the most exciting, profound and life expanding journeys that any of us experience in our lives…
 

And, if you missed ISE 1, don’t worry! We have designed ISE 2 so that no prior experience is required and all participants will be engaging in a brand new practice design.
 

The event contains these essential elements:

• Curriculum and design held within the Integral Spiritual framework
• Large group gatherings with plenary and keynote speakers
• Small group interaction and experiential activities
• Choice of over 10 morning and afternoon self-selecting practice groups, ranging from Zen meditation to Hatha yoga, breathwork to prayer, and coaching to nature mysticism among several others
• Small self-selecting breakout groups addressing the many facets of relationship including sexuality, intimacy, work, family, and many more
• Evening entertainment, live performances, dancing, bonfire
• Shared mealtimes
• Down time in the gorgeous natural surroundings of the California coastline
• Family programming for those with children

The Power of Integral Discernment

The Integral approach offers a way to more deeply and authentically experience your life and relationships through the practice of discernment. This practice has three faces, each interpenetrating your way of living and being, and serving as the source code for an emergent world spirituality. From one perspective, Integral offers a set of tools to help you fit together and make sense of diverse and sometimes contradictory perspectives. From a more intimate perspective, Integral guides us into relationships through the power of authentic loving. And from a deeply personal perspective, Integral cultivates a radical integrity, allowing us to encounter self and other with unwavering responsibility.  Take our Pre-Workshop to make this discernment an undercurrent of your ISE experience.

 

Experience Integral Pre-Workshop

Led by Clint Fuhs, founder of Core Integral, and ISE Anchor Teachers Marc Gafni and Diane Musho Hamilton, this 6-hour pre-workshop offers a unique opportunity to experience the power of Integral discernment in relationships. Instead of endless lectures on the finer points of Integral Theory, together we will engage a series of experience-based activities that guide you into direct encounters of how a practice of Integral discernment deepens integrity, expands love, and helps you work with diverse perspectives in relationship. Topics we’ll explore include: perspective-taking, the nature of a “we,” levels in relationships, Love as an authentic perception of Unique self, and masculine/feminine currents as the energy poetics of relationship. This workshop is recommended for anyone looking to deeply ground their ISE experience in an Integral way of being and knowing.
