Boddhisatva Vow

Hello,

I'm almost worried about starting another thread, because the first one is so rich.  But here goes.  I'm reading "Brief History of Everything" and last night had a stray thought.  The Non-Dual traditions take the Boddhisatva vow to stick around until all beings know their true nature. ok.  My limited self felt the edge of despair at that thought.  But following on it's heels was the notion that maybe this vow is actually a necessary condition to entering the stage.  Like initiation rites which break open the ego to allow the new stage of life to manifest, this might be the "until death do us part" which allows the ego to close the door and relax into this moment of marriage with What Is.

Anyone want to riff on that one?
