good film, good discussion

Hi - I felt this film to be moving and mind/heart enlarging. I think it did a good job of identifying places in our thinking and reactions to place understandable dots that we can then more easily connect - as a start.

Part of me didn't want to listen to over an hour of rehash on the film, and in the early moments of the David-Ken discussion I was sort of hohum about it. As it went on and after completion I felt it to be a very good learning, a very good integral theoretical sweep across the immediate topic and of course larger more generalized understanding of life as social and psychological beings.

Ken of course so easily riffed on integral and large psycho-social issues. I liked how through much of it David provided the structure that opened up the major moments, life situations and ideas from the film and Ken ran with them. I liked that David mentioned the many positives and yet some skepticism also, particularly around the handling of the situation at Dobson's center. His conclusion two thumbs up I agree with.

It seems to me to be another presentation of surprising span and depth from Ken and David and the film.
