When people are a part of our lives through love, a part of them becomes a part of us, of our spirit, our essence; just as a part of us becomes a part of them....and as such, we are all transformed forever. Time, distance, even physical death cannot ever separate us from those with whom we share love...they are with us forever.

About Me

Who am I?  The traditional type of answer would include that I am a woman in mid-life, happily married long term to a wonderful man, I'm a devoted mom to two awesome teenagers, and I work part time as a clinical pharmacist at a large pediatric teaching hospital. (Don't let that summary lead you to believe I follow conventional expectations in all aspects of my life.)
Even though I distinctly remember telling my second grade teacher I wanted to study philosophy, my immigrant parents wisely steered me instead to my bachelor's and later doctorate degrees in clinical pharmacy.  That career has been rewarding on many levels, and life now allows me time and freedom to explore that "other stuff".  Having been introduced to Ken Wilber a few years ago, I have started experiencing many "ah-ha!" moments of insight, as he puts into words what I could never have expressed coherently, but which I can now appreciate.
What is meaningful to me is to connect with others to help us all recognize our common humanity and divinity, to better accept ourselves as we truly are in this lifetime, and to realize the joy, the love, the growth, the end of "aloneness" that can occur when we take the risk to truly share and truly be ourselves.....sometimes I think a major part of my path is to take that risk first, so another can feel safe in doing so, and then we both are enriched by the explosion of so many good things that inevitably follow!
