Michael Jackson - Genius, Insanity & Eternal Love

We all seek to be the best be can be, evolve, and transform our lives. We judge what is good and bad, better and worse, but life is not that black and white. We have a call to compassion that includes more. We see suffering and we are moved, by all who are touched by it. We look through all things and see Spirit, and compassion is ignited in dark places.

Today the King of Pop died,
Suddenly... without warning.
Ready to reach the world,
One more time with song,
Instead reaching out through death.

The world pours out conflicted feelings,
Of amazement of genius,
Greatness of craft,
Questioning sanity,
Unsure of the unthinkable,
But undeniably influential.

His death pauses us,
And, somewhere deep inside...

We wonder...
Can I accept my weaknesses,
pain, ugliness, evil?
Will others?
Where is that line?
When we become unlovable, unworthy,
of compassion?

We wonder...
Will I be seen for what I can do?
Who I love? How I love?
Can insanity take away...
The eternal Spirit that is inside us all?

Look back at the music, the dancing,
The life, the eyes,
The energy of spirit.
Then you decide...
Can insanity take away...

The eternal Spirit of Love,
That created us all?
