  • According to the National Institute of Mental Health, an estimated

          10.4 percent of American adults suffer from bipolar disorder, major

           depressive disorder, or schizophrenia in any given year.

  • According to a 2002 Department of Health and Human Services

    report, diagnosable mental illness costs the United States about

    $170 billion per year 

    in healthcare expenditures and lost productivity.

       How much of this $170 BILLION [that's with a B folks] PER YEAR  is being spent by lobbyists who are working to insure medications are the chosen methodology for treatment. How much of this is spent for the education, and understanding of the growth of Consciousness?????????????????Wherefore art thou, Care Givers? What does the Hippocratic Oath stand for....do no harm if we can get everyone to believe our side of the illusion!!! These are very, terrible diseases. You need to take these medications for the rest of you life. You have a major disease of the brain; you are like a diabetic who now needs these drugs to stay well. And, so I as a "medical" professional can continue to haul in my portion of the $170 BILLION a YEAR!!!!! In the name of health care, no less....

My prayer everynight: God Bless America, God Bless Ken Wilber, God Bless those practitioners working to aid folks to balance and heal their obscurations, God Bless the Pharmaceutical Industry...may they wake-up to knowing their industry is responsible for perpetuating ignorance instead of BLISS CONSCIOUSNESS/Enlightened Society!
