Thanks for the warm thoughts Bruce (no pun intended).  We are accustomed to annual fires in the mountains, and of course it is typically very healthy for the flora--but sadly the fauna tend to get the bum end of the deal.  Fortunately none of our salaried fauna have been impacted, though some of us do have friends that had to evacuate their homes, which is tragic.
