We apologize the delay in responding to Part 2 of the video. The Universe has withheld my access to Part 2 of the interview for some undisclosed reason in spite of my uploading the audio portion months ago along with the first portion. This will be broken up into four parts to make it more manageable.

What are the elements ofa quality conversation if we were having a healthy conversation on climate change what would it 'look like'?
Environmental impacts
Increased use of nitrogen fertilizers may lead to environmental changes, including surface and groundwater pollution and ocean dead zones.[citation needed]
Ammonia is highly toxic to fish and the water discharge level of ammonia from wastewater treatment plants must often be closely monitored. To prevent loss of fish, nitrification prior to discharge is often desirable. Land application can be an attractive alternative to the mechanical aeration needed for nitrification.
"Nitrogen cycles" appear to be environmental hazards but in and of themselves do not appear to contribute to climate change or global warming.
Why is it that climate change deniers reach for every possible argument to avoid blaming CO2 from human activity, the most obvious culprit?

The situation as I see it
Posted May 24th, 2010 by Richard Layman in response to Aspie?From reading many of Barbie's posts referencing Aspergers (which I know very little about) I think she is well aware of her "situation" over all (but I have wondered, Barbie, how aware are you of your apparent transitions, reflected in the various styles and organization of your writing, as such changes occur?).
I also have an atypical neurology, perhaps somewhat the opposite of Barbie's. If a typical person's brain is like a 250hp ford my brain is like a vintage 40hp VW. I can go places and see things the ford or even a Jeep 4x4 cant but only very very slowly and I may have to make multiple trips to match their single load... I don't know about Barbie but I wouldn't trade places with anyone.
Barbie seems more like a maserati with intermittent fuel and handling problems. When everything is synchronized she blows the doors off anybody else I've read on this forum, especially on climate change.
Cognitive evolution (or lack of it) vs the progressive development of a baseline of culturally transmitted competence, is another matter....I argue that nobody here, including Barbi, gets it right.

Sometimes truth' requires 'getting it wrong' to use IR as an example for the concretion of Time should the Universe require a more concrete rather than merely abstract or SPATIAL example of w hat it means to be "true." Getting it right
Posted May 25th, 2010 by Richard Layman in response to Better to Be in Truth when directions make no senseI listened to the audios "I'M SO FULLLuV iDears, and hear's SOME BAD IDEAS" but they didn't mean much to me -- another cognitive deficit of mine, I can't process words with music well, I think it just overloads my buffers. I started tapering off listening to music about 10 years ago, down to zero now. I even have trouble with accents now (didn't used to).
"Getting it right" is just an expression I use a lot without thinking about how it makes any sense on its face. When I think about it, it's a pretty weak expression. Getting it "white" might make more sense on its face but could be definitely be offensive.
The opposite, "getting it wrong" makes more sense because the word "wrong" is less ambiguous.
Truth: I lean towards probability. Doesn't always serve the need, though. I think I tend to avoid making statements about someone telling the "truth" or not. Its just such a loaded word. Of course I now realize that "right" can be a loaded word, too. (I didn't know that gun was loaded)
I am very interested in the subject of information quality. Have you given that much thought?

(The "ranged" and the "perceple" typographical errors inserted acausally by "the Itself" via magical 'doing without knowing' andl 'meaningful accidnet" so as to bring our "net" attention to a deficient structure of consciousness, the mental-rational structure (orange and gree), whosse net value system of quantity, mass, measure, abstraction, and vacuity in space referring exclusively to the abstract world of concepts or numeric values and representations (e.g., "likeness, simile" to quality via representation but not the "real thing") are confused with and mistaken for values of quality. It is only the "concrete"--never the "abstract"--which can be made "concrete" and thereby integrated into the whole: never the "abstract." This important insight of Gebser concerning "the concrete" and concretion of the spiritual (Time) is to distinguish that which is brought to concretion by becoming transparent to the whole from that what is merely "abstract" or conceptual. And while we we cannot overemphasize the importance and necessity of "information quality" and demand that it be of the highest "quality" with regard to accuracy in reporting and measurement of things or cunceptual objects for I-I ego-subjedcts in space based on numberic rank or percentages or concensus in the sciences, in medicine, and on the science of global warming, "information quality" is a value that refers to values of "net" quantity in space or to rank perceptile in precision of spatial measure so are in reference to "data"--that is, to values of quality: which are distinct from values of quality in that quantitative values refer exclusively to quantities in space and are therefore amenable to measurement whereas values of quality are incapable of immeasurable and can only be brought to perceptibility to be integrated by becoming transparent to the whole, that is--to Time. Hence, the musicla selections with poetry and riddles (which refer to aesthetic values of quality via access to all of Time) to integralate those observations previously only capable of assertion via "belief" of religion or "truth-claims" or "percentages" in terms ofspatial quantity and precision to ware the truth that our veracity on issues of climate change are being brought to us repeatedly by the Universe via access to all of Time which must use different "methodologies" of rational science based purely on spatce and find that those who are stuck in rational and refuse to listen to our music selections or to tolerate the trnasparenby made possible by aucasal acausal insertions of typographical or grammatic errors or use of unconfentional lannguage of my posts to only read words instead of listening to the music or following our "stories" are stuck to three-dimensional space and will probably never become transparent to the whole due to their hardening of the arteries to the soul and to spirit and hence, confinement to space of mentality and thinking. Because of my neurolinguistic deficit (no reference to "NLP" theory intended--no one can expect to misappropriate a common term like neurolinguistic, or love or reality, for their own proprietary use but it is very commonly done I think for reasons of a character disorder in which a person is --I'm getting the word "attracted" and "tempted" but these are only blocking the word I am really trying to retrieve--this is an example of my neurolinguistic deficit in action--anyway, attracted to committing the misappropriation as a way of getting attention by taking something that doesn't belong to one) I am having to reread your post many times and rest and assimilate in between readings. This neurolinguistic deficit that forced me to choose the word "attracted" instead of the one I wanted and still can't recall is also making me slow to respond to your post, but I do not make the interpretation that the universe wants me to choose the word "attracted" or to reread your post many times but that my cognitive neurolinguistic deficit is the proximal cause of those facts. Regardless, I am anything but a pedantic person. I am imaginative and intuitive but instead of rendering my imagination in its raw form I like to process it through my critical thinking and organizing department as well--not being rational instead of imaginative/creative but in addition to--why? I guess because that is just my chosen style of organization and expression. I don't think I am loosing or repressing anything--everything is still accessible in memory and "in my bones" and my gut including the raw intuitive and imaginative experiences that might make good poems or impressionistic drawings that I don't have the time and energy to do now, although I once did. I do not care about creating works of art any more but I still care about exchanging thoughts with others. When the subject is art or creativity or non-rational ways of knowing, etc. I am comfortable with that epistemologically but more challenged due to my cognitive deficits which favor narrow-band linear expression over wide-band high resolution audio and graphics whether figuratively in the case of poetic/artistic mental images or literally in the case of multimedia content. It is actually easier for me to read text than to watch a video of the same talk.
Now it has come to me that I wanted to say "find it irresistible" (instead of being "attracted") to misappropriate a common, publicly owned word or phrase in order to provoke some attention by grabbing something out of another's hand. I think that is a narcissistic impulse. Now I don't think the universe withheld the word irresistible from me nor sent me the word "attracted". It was more likely the much more proximal cause of my neurolinguistic deficit. I put no stock in typos, either, as messages either from the universe or from my own mind. Even if they have meanings in hindsight or even if I discovered they had connections with other interesting events I would still consider them accidents even if in hindsight they were totally suitable for framing or bronzing.

Mere words cannot describe the music of Lucia Pamela, star of this week's feature story. Maybe it's because of her unique artistic vision. Maybe it's because her one album, Into Outer Space with Lucia Pamela, was recorded on the moon. (This is what she always claimed, and really, there's no reason to doubt her.)![]()
Whatever the case, we at Riverfront Times cannot let our story about Lucia Pamela pass into the archives without sharing some of her music with you, our dear readers. All MP3s are posted courtesy of Erik Lindgren at Arf! Arf! Records, which produced and still sells the 1992 CD reissue of Into Outer Space.

Sadly, Lucia Pamela never recorded anything after Into Outer Space. But her spirit lives on: Stereolab wrote a song about her, "International Colouring Contest," which appeared on 1994's Mars Audiac Quintet. (Video below.) Stereolab vocalist Laetitia Sadier recently told the RFT, via e-mail: "There was something radically optimistic about her, that imagination was strongest of all and would conquer all, which was really inspiring."
Pamela was just one of many practitioners of what is known as outsider music. The blog at WFMU, the New Jersey radio station where outsider music scholar Irwin Chusid toils as a DJ, also has a very fine repository of outsider work, including the legendary song-poems and a Japanese interpretation of the Beach Boys called Pot Sounds. The image above is the image that was taken by moi while i was sitting on the comode in the bathroom which at the time was for the purpose of showcasing the warm brown Byzanteum tones of the bathroom but when the picture was taken, it turned out blue. That means that little silvery grey dot inside of the black box is the Moon becau i have seen pictures of Satan with green doxts inside of a black box meaning that Stan is really GAEA bu that i am from the Universe or from the moon.

The images above were modified in varioius ways "by the Itself" without my "inpot"; just "turned out" thataway by "the Itself": not "above" or "below" burned but turned around in various "directions" by weme to try to figure out what they hell the Itself and peeplos too means when they trying to be "directional" to autistics via 3-2-1 3D human instructionals to autisticx as if too imply that the University did not sent me "this way" ('BORN THIS WAY') for a reason and not to be like homo sapeians sapeians. Over time we began to "piece together" the varoous clues that the universe is isending to me via encoded languages and messages long prior to the imagery below apearing on this site of Zimmerman videos: to reveal via transparency that by becoming transparent to th e whole in transparency (diaphabneity), that which was previously hidden and concealed as nonessential, "too complicated," "nonexistent" or invisible to the eeye of bodymoind becomes visibly transparent to the whole of consciousness in tranceparency to verition and impart the truth and not merely offer "truth claims" without capacity for "proof." We are now being informed that the partially concealed boxes in graye or black boxes were among ather reason it waws in anticipation of the imagery below, which attempt ed to "present" a false vision of the world by posting a picture of a giant iceberg to imply non-transparenty and therefore, non-integrally that global does not exist as "warming" but only as "cooling" that and sea ice isn't melting because looky here:

On barbie's accidental comment to my "Descartes" comment
Posted May 24th, 2010 by Richard LaymanBarbie, I can't even imagine (I say somehwat enviously as I try) what it must feel like to blast such a high bandwidth burst of streaming thought into print.... pretty good I imagine.... I would need at least ten of my current brains in parallel, each with its own set of independently moveable eyeballs perhaps. My typing speed of about 30 inacurate words per minute forces me to compress and organize my thoughts well before typing. I look forward to reading your reaction to my idea about dualism/quadism vis a vis non-dual or aperspectival groking of a dynamically incipient version of reality that might be transpersonal or universal as well as something other (what was the other thing?) Inner/outer (subjective/objective)and singular/plural distinctions seem only to be distinctions of convenience (moving mathematical parentheses or brackets around) for a particular associative or transitive purpose. The distinction/relation between part/whole seems more ultimately insoluable and yet you can move the boundaries all around there as well.
I said time was important without saying how because I don't have much of a grasp on what it is....it mainly seems to apply only in the case of motion or change which depends on the presence of a something which moves and/or changes in situ. I wish I had some inkling of where gravity fit in the quadrants. Same place as spirit, I suppose, although my current thinking is that the concept of spirit is either wrong or superfluous to a natural explanation of natural phenomena. If it is supernatural then it belongs with the name of God--unspoken by our natural tongues. Amen.

You are very astute in your observation but Time cannot be "grasped" or "understood" by the mind of hand/eye coordination or "holding" or possession of space because it is not space but is Time which is immeasurable and beyond conceptualization tje veracity of which can be veritioned and opresentiatedstrated by those who are very (actually, better to call your "observation" not "observation" but, rather, "perception" so as to remain neutral and generic in our language to avoid the error of conceptualization of perception which results in conceptualization and, hence, partiality of perception into three-dimensional organs of emphasis, t he brain (director/subject) and the eye(s/eea-ha! no wonder that only my left earplug is "working" lately) ("directeesy" anday actresos easy "abjectedly" either/or adverbially or adjectively nouny objecty), which combined refer to mentality and thinking (and, due to the king's aspirations towards "thinkness," prevers verticality over that of horizontality in appearance or stature of directionality of "up high" opinion, that is, Altitude) both of which are in reference to only one mode of realization, "thought," which due to its associated organs of emphasis of hand/eye coordination and mentality or thinking is always a mo data or rather, doto o modof perception that is "directed: to, towards, at" (and remember: "direrection" can only refer to a rightward orientation toward a futurisitic directionality of slinearequential time from past to future to a clear "white light of daylight" of "I'm beginning to see the Light" due to its visual orientation on the visual as oppposed to the leftward orientation which by contrast is not a "direction" (for only a right-ward orientation can be "directed" by a thinking subject, after all: who is autocratic and autotistical or either/or is egalitarian and equalistidc (but not BOT) i meant, "both" or maybe, "both" typ0 and nontype 0 whereas a leftward orientation is "undirected" and hence is headed backwards toward the ABYSMAL of Universe, "black" as opposed to the white right individual of the subject)bedosubjectively mentality hand/eye coordination handed down by oridination of a thinking and directed toward an "objective or object" or servant or subjectS (plurality), 3D visual acuity) todo and togo tobe bedo but not to simplyl "be" notso capable to perceive that time is first and foremost, a quality and hence an element that is unique to Time alone and distinct from "space" (e.g., in physics, a zero-dimensional "imaginary dot" extended (=) extension into onedimensional verticalorhorizontal line (without a "point of reference," the "dot" in zer0dimensionality cannot meaningfully be described as extended "vertically" or "horizontally," whether "left" or "right"--which ar e relative to other "dots" or objects in 3D space but in 0D only exist as an infinitesimally undivided "whole" or "dot" in zero dimensional without a reference point in "space" 3dimensional (e.g. "vertical" line + horizontal width ed out to = three-dimensional "depth" andor spatial extent)--which by contrast is not a quality but a quantity. Buffer overrun
Posted May 25th, 2010 by Richard Layman in response to The polarity and ambivalence of the MouthMy language input processing system doesn't have enough buffer space (short term memory) for 500 word run-on sentences so I have great difficulty parsing your post. The typos, original words and creative spellings sometimes make it hard to parse individual phrases, too. This is a particular neurological deficit of mine.
(By the way, the spell checker in my browser doesnt work on this forum for some reason --it flags words but won't lookup or correct them. Do you know how to fix that?)
I have no problem parsing most of your excellent climate change posts where you are responding point by point to what someone else has said, so I assume the linguistic scaffolding of the quoted work is more familiar to my input processor, making your posts by inheritance easier for me to parse and interpret.
The post I am replying to appears to my brain as a pot full of snippets about time, space, dimension, culture, etc. that has been dumped out on the desk in front of me. I am not seeing any bigger picture or pictures in the tea leaves, so my brain is not able to compose a a very full response, as much as I would like to. I hope you may write something more conventionally organized that I can follow because I am very impressed with your wealth of knowledge on many subjects of interest to me and your ability to logically dissect and refute climate science denier BS.
That said, a few comments about time. You listed many examples of time words/concepts that were consistent with my statement that time seems always to pertain to movement in space or change in situ. I was thinking that even change in situ, such as ageing or heating and cooling, probably is a subset of movement-- movement on the microscopic or sub-microscopic level. So maybe my statement about time can be contracted to just movement. However, it occurs to me that time can be applied to something motionless in this way: "That stone has not moved for 3 hours" (ignoring the possible motion of whatever the stone may be attached to). Would this simply be another subset of movement: movement=0?
The only other interesting things I know about time pertains to relativity and quantum mechanics. Though I don't think I fully understand either field, I find it fascinating that 1) there is a measurable correction that must regularly be made to the GPS satellite clocks and 2) that certain subatomic particles are said to be capable of being detected in two different places at the same time.
I don't have much to say about the latter, but regarding the GPS clocks I guess I am baffled as to why the clocks cannot be built so that they stay continuously in synch with time on the ground without repeated "corrections". If they know the amount of the relativistic corrections required, why not build the satellite clock slower or faster than the earth reference clock in the first place?
A look at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GPS_clock and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Global_Positioning_System reveals that the clock errors and communication errors involved in reading any clock remotely are possibly not relativistic at all but a variety of less exotic errors in atomic clocks and radio transmissions. The individual GPS clock corrections at any given time may need to positive or negative and the amount of correction varies. They are not predetermined but are computed ad hoc.
Hmm. I am getting suspicious of the scientific education I am getting from the Discovery and History channels.

I see you are very skilled at handling Objects mentally. And I see that you are even able to turn the Subject into an Object. I have two Aspie friends who can also do that.
