so many possible reasons
Posted October 22nd, 2009 by Ambo SunoHi Barbi - Sure, there are perspectives in which this place seem pretty weird, spooky, creepy - especially around halloween. That last attempt for humor and seriousness may be a little weird.
As you probably know somewhere in yourself there are so many possible reasons why people don't respond to you and others' posts. If there are thousands of subscribers, there might be many of the possible reasons, many healthy and many neurotic, that come into play at every reading of a post.
Maybe this evening or tomorrow I'll start a thread trying to make a list of possible motives, impulses, reasons, rationales, rationalizations, and personal needs for either responding or not. Unless you start a thread trying to make that list first.
I do empathize. My guess is that at different times many wonder and even worry, including me, a similar thing and some people control their impulses in the various psychosocial ways that we do. They may not interpret or declare it as spooky or creepy but it may feel very uncomfortable. Later.
