3-2-1 Process: Integrating the shadow and improving 'object constancy'.

I am applying the 3-2-1 Process in my professional work as a psychologist. With depression and anxiety it works well because denied emotions can be integrated with this shadow work.

It is helpful too in case of losses, because it touches issues concerning inner objects and object constancy¹. By taking the perspective of an emotionally important person (using the empty chair), you can strengthen inner objects. This helps to cope with losses (http://integrallife.com/member/bernhard-meyer/blog/if-ayn-rand-would-have-known-3-2-1-process). And, of course, it works also with couples and can improve the relationship, not only if it's too late. So, in personal and social life it is also an excellent tool of prevention (primary, secondary and tertiary) and mental health.
