Unique Self

I'm a few weeks behind and playing catch up...

I'm SO glad to see this topic addressed.  This is one of a couple areas of the overall Big Picture that I have always wanted to tinker with (the other big one being the seeming late discovery of God in the 2nd person - my own shadow in full effect).  It has always seemed to me that a focus primarily on the Transcendent State, the nonreactive witnessing space of pure radiant consciousness, and defining that as the only underlying final ground of reality really does a disservice to the Forms that arise from within - and along with - the purity of this state.  What Christianity might call the "fruits of the Spirit".  (my own personal fav line "against such there is no law") It seems to me (Almaas describes this brilliantly) that the arising forms themselves actually change in nature and come to reflect the underlying goodness of heart that is always true of our deepest essential empty self.  And though we each reflect this goodness with our own flavour (thank goodness), the deep currents and character of love remains the same - and are just as spontaneously and independently real and abosolute (and valuable) as the space of still being which contains them.  I would even be inclined to say this arising expression is the 3rd Person itself.

It is as it is.  It is as it should be.  What a shock!

It takes a while to polish the Viewfinder free of dust.  And our identity slides along the ruler appropriately.  Why shouldn't the same thing happen in the world of expression, the world of guts and form.  As we polish our heart, the expression changes -becomes truer, cleaner, (more "gorgeous" as Gafni would say).  We need a new graph.  Put "unobstructed view" on the y-axis and "heart-clarity" on the x-axis and aim for 45 degrees...
