Fractal Spiral Dynamics / Fractal Integral

I believe there is a code that we are collectively digging into... Ken has revealed certain VERY essential elements of this code with Integral Theory but it can and will continue to deepen as 'the spiral tightens' and those of us ready for that, ought to remain open in that sense, to see more patterns-that-connect and take a participatory role in both the burdens and glories of this process... (one of the very beautiful things Ken has done for us is not only show us essential portions of these codes but apply these codes skillfully to the research and thinking that was doing... i.e. write from a place of interconnected beauty, filled with integrity and whole-part truth).

The spiral is metaphorically tightening and with it the clarity of these patterns to be contextualized in novel ways. I am sure some of you feel this singing from your hearts 'let it be so' (the danger here as we move into this space of pluralizing integral, we can move too far from the more grounded foundations people like Ken have provided us, I notice myself prone to this... even though I had emmersed myself deeply into Kens thinking for a number of years and still do)! I know to some extent in the relative sense I am a flawed being. Having said that, the responsibility remains... and with feet now mostly grounded in the integral space we have to take real responsiblity for it, which includes being code-creators ourselves and allow the arrows to strike our backs by those close to us that may not understand us (doing this we are becoming space-holders). The call is there... it remains (within and without for those ready for this process).

There have been others that have felt into integral codes and strarted writting them (and the courage that takes) without knowledge of Ken for example. Expressing these codes from their own lines of development which they have become specialized in... probably no code as of yet has been as fleshed out as integral theory. Nevertheless, there are new codes that are siging to us from outside the integral infrastructure to be included into the fold - some of us may be ready to be the spaceholders for this and some may not and this is fine.

As almost an aside to what I have said I have been trying to take up this process of code-creating and code-facilitating myself (again grounded in integral) it has been a lonely route... with very little support. But I feel I am perosnally just starting to make some real breakthroughs in this process. Tools like Youtube and Facebook have been essential in this journey for me to A) find new ways to connect the 'integral feel' to those not neccesarily interested in it... by trying different methodological tactics through the interface of Facebook. I have went on a journey in the political worldscape (I feel there are very real conspiracies and underbelly relaities that simply are still not being adaquately addressed and processed here, much of this has to do with our own shadow but certainly not all of it). Lastly, I have been trying to do new integral code-cracking and finding new patterns-that-connect... Although there is still much I need to do to enhance these codes the process if nothing else has been one of growth as all of these other areas have been as well. (Here and here a few examples.... I have many influences but a big one has been Nassims work - in a sense this is all an aside to the main message I am trying to express here. Which is, lets take this integral ball and find ways to run with it). Anyway, Blessings to you all and may your New Year be a glourious one. I've enjoyed Nassim's work as well. Especially the scaling law, the torque problem, the mass distribution of black holes, the relaxation of the need for a strong and weak nuclear force. Great stuff. His mytho-history and sacred geometry veer enthusiastically in and out of sensibility but this is no problem. Imagine if youtube could reveal Newton & Heisenberg discussing their own radical "beliefs"!

Along the lines of codes and fractals -- do you have any experience with Wolfram (mathematica, etc.)? It seems to me that his approach of building tools to "mine" the universe of complex, non-linear computational patterns has a very real potential to unearth and automate the self-revelation of all codes into human technological space. At some point there will need to be a blending of (1) humanly synthesized super-maps summarizing and coordination the greatest diversity of perspectives and allowing them to constrain each other into a "dynamic structure" (2) massively distributed co-intelligence of humans and machines employing algorithmic patterns that are not limited merely to humanly processable linear relationships but including usefully non-predictable patterns.

The only way to mobilization massive change is to empower individuals with personal "browser-interface" software that can be accessed from any kind of digital device, which tracks constantly updated brain scan info. and comprehensive multi-dimensional personality profiling to organize people with type & level appropriate opportunities for personal satisfaction, social engagement, and self-development AND provides customized "fun" prompts which incentivize self-developmental exercises. This is going to require technological enhancement AND improved integral mapping and (especially!) improved integral personality profiling.

I don't mind getting on a plane with someone of any colour, race, religion, geography, economic status, whatever. But I NEVER want to get on a plane with somebody who as the cognitive, emotional & neurological profile of a terrorist. So -- yeah, we need to tighten up this spiral and bring this coding into real universal functionality.

Making (aka designing) 'Sense'

I feel he (Nassim) and a few others are working on laying the groundwork for the coral code ... Brian O'connell a bloke often visting IL has also been inspirational in this sense. He has challanged certain components of Integral theory but like myself sees Wilbers Integral as still the most encompssing framework we have avalible to us at this time (but needs fundamental new coding for the UR and LR domains). I have looked into Wolfram since you have mentioned it and it seems very intriguing. One of my buddies who is finishing a degree in physics said he frequented the site and found what you have said to be very true. He suggested that I use it as a means to data-mine for a book I have been working on in relation to geopolitics ("Transcending the Integral Conspiracy").

Furthermore, in relation to all of this (Coral Information) I agree very strongly with your statement that: "The only way to mobilize massive change is to empower individuals with personal "browser-interface" software that can be accessed from any kind of digital device..." I differ slightly on the idea of brainscanning (although I have played around with this idea with another Integralist Shalck Leonards (whom I wrote a couple of screenplays with). One of the screenplays played around with the idea of biofeedback and brainscans used in comb. with other psychometric tools as a means to access the viability of those wishing to enter the political domain (particularly in attempting to access information as to the degree of ones empathy and/or the relationship between their expressions of Truth and their internal reality of Truthfulness)- this raises however many sticky and slippery slope questions some of which I do believe will be essential in the next 10-20 years). If you are intereted in reading part or the whole of this screenplay I'd love to share it with you (although I'd have to get Schalk to pass it along, as I presently do not have a copy of it). But back to the mobilization... yes they need a means to enact change via this platform and something like Wolfram in regards to micro-decision making would be a huge assest to global descion processing especially when coupled with other more traditional tools (but also revamped and updaed). Brian O'Connell the bloke I had mentioned before, has suggested working with trialectics (which, the way I see it, is an attempt at modernizing the republic (of Plato) through a conceptual tool called trialectics... in which the core (judicial), heart (legislative) and head (executive) are delicately balanced and interlocked.

I feel we are in the process of designing 'the fourth' however within the landscape of geopolitics. Which in integral-theory might be called 'the commons' or 'the wisdom council'... or 'the inter-executive'. Note... that broadly-speaking, the judical is primarily rooted in the UL (truthfulness and "I-centered") The legislative is primarily rooted in the LL (Justness and We-centered) and the executive is primarily rooted in the UR (truth and IT-centered). The wisdom council or inter-executive would be LR (Fitness and ITS-centered). Although, Wilber has never suggested this... I do believe that although all four quadrants arise moment-to-moment... there is a fractal pattern that moves through the Kosmos within developmental processes that follows this very path and the primary focus within a particular quadrant 'shifts' with development (i.e. within the self-reflexive mind) Red is primarily "I-focused", Blue is primarily "WE-focused", Orange is primarily IT-Focused and Green is primarily ITS-focused. That is, developmentally occurs with a primary focus in a fairly patterned form from I to WE to IT to ITS (and is fractal all the way up and down).... this however gets a little messy as I think there is something called a collapse (when a sentient being integrates a fractal into their body-mind the pattern collapses into a singular expression). anyway, I am deverging from the overall discussion here. Thanks for the feedback and I will post this as a new new blog also.

I've been sharing a bit with Brian on another thread. Certainly the way forward necessitates a strong interaction of new physics, advanced political structures, ultra-comprehensivist philosophy, digital innovation & the possibilities of post-algebraic computational work. For me this all screams, "Gross realm technologizing the bridge in the Subtle." And thank God for that!

Sure, I'd be happy to take a look any work (screenplay, etc.) since any such thinking is... well, my peer group, I guess.

Brainscans, which now have portability, must soon be readily available from phone-computers and (as much as other medical data) must soon play a role in verifying the "health" of global political leaders... and everyone else. Just one bit of data in the important set of constantly updates streams which allows objective supplementation of data from integral personality profiling.

Trialectics is intriguing. For me any structural improvements need to deeply incorporate better injunctions for individuals as to how make decisions that reflect their current understanding & group injunctions which prevent the entropic leak which is so obvious in majoritarian representational democracies.

Do you see a Wisdom-Council as regional, national or planetary? Adi Da's concept of a intelligence sharing forum in which people are obliged to speak as humans on humanity's behalf in order to participate raises the question of whether local contexts are, or are not, structurally opposed to more general contexts. Kant addressed this too. Am I more global AS a Canadian... or as opposed to being a Canadian?

I'm iffy on Blue (we) Orange (it) Green (its) etc. This might be a purely contingent variation not found on "other planets" etc. Or it might be that we overplaying the factor of the public speech which goes on at each level. Of course I'm not even really convinced by Graves original notion of alternating collective and individualistic waves. I think we could do without it.

Still, the basic premise, that essential computational possibilities and morphic attractors repeat fractally throughout zones and levels of the cosmic system must be sound, I think.

Tell me more about this "collapse". What do you mean by "a single expression" that an individual might psycho-embody a fractal into...?
