So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. 2 Corinthians 4:18

Envisioning an Integral Future

First introduced to Ken Wilber's work via Eye to Eye in 1997, I began delving into Theravada Buddhism under the tutelage of Thanissaro Bhikkhu (Geoffrey DeGraff) towards the end of my graduate program in Counseling Psychology.  As an acquaintance of Roger Walsh, Ajaan Geoffrey's friendship helped facilitate my membership in the Association for Transpersonal Psychology and in turn afforded me a certain amount of contact with psychological writers, researchers, and theorists including Michael Washburn, Charles Tart, and David Lukoff.

Otherwise known as gospelnous on the internet, my interest in digital and multimedia technologies has translated into various projects including a series entitled, A Crisis in American Leadership, a column at Newsvine, video production at YouTube, and several contributions to both SourceWatch and Wikipedia.

Although my focus continues to center on themes of human development, world history, Integral leadership, and morality, I'm especially intrigued with Integral Theory (i.e. 'Integral economics'), complexity science, and 'interobjectivity'. As a staunch advocate for the homeless, I'm exploring the horizons of urban based Integral Sustainable Development (SDv) within my immediate community.

I'm currently the Director for Group Epignosis and Administrator of the Meditation Meeting of Downtown Roanoke, otherwise supplementing contemplative practice with swimming, yoga, and weightlifting.  As postmodern views converge and awaken to Integral 'meta-perspectives', I look forward to meeting and collaborating with others here at Integral+Life.

I hope you'll visit my recently updated blog site, the integral economist and take a few minutes to review some of my academic work at academia.edu.
