The elections

In Reference to:
2011: The Year in Review

It looks like Obama will win if Ron Paul does not win the Republican nomination. And Ron Paul does not fit the mold of the Republicans. And Ron Paul looks like he will win the first two states Iowa and NH. And how will Jeff understand this change. So far the conversations have been centered in Green with Integral jargon. Which is worse than Ken Wilber's expression center in Integral with a lack of being historically informed in the LR of the shadows of global elitism( social engineering). For integral to be effective in current problems it needs to understand how events have been engineered by the elite in its current cycle for 120 years. It is not just chaos but engineered chaos. But Jeff likes to make rosy descriptions of policies that have there source in the banking cabal. I wonder how Robb Smith feels about Obama and these talks of the evolver. If you studied the people Obama picked for his cabinet,(His pick's) you would know right away his policies are in alignment with Bush and the policies of Bush would be carried forward and intensified. Integral in general and Ken need to be much more informed in global history such that expressions in video's like the Zeitgeist Addendum and Thrive are included.

If you have a hammer everything looks like a nail. If you have a developmental sequence everything looks like a battle of values.( And if you believe in conspiracy, everything looks like a conspiracy. But what if there is a way to validate the conspiracy?)But without being historically informed of shadow systems in the LR, can the developmental model miss the more significant picture of a conflict between elite social engineers and humanity. And it does not come down to greed for them, (and they are not billioniars but trillioniars), but how to control the future so that they can get ride of most of humanity after they do not need us anymore. I know a crazy idea. But that is their intention. And if you do not know who they are, then some serious study is called for. Order out of chaos and the chaos is not a natural one but an engineered one. Its all in the details. Where to start? Watch the two video's Zeitgeist addendum and Thrive. And if you need a deeper take watch this Matrix  . And if this is not academic enough for you Carroll Quigley's (Bill Clinton's mentor) work  "Tragedy and Hope".

And all of this is not Integral. But with out knowing this information, integral has been in alignment unconsciously with the upside down paradigm of the elite.

Here is a post I did on defense mechanism against this topic Here

Events look like chaos if you do not understand the structure it is coming from.

what socio-economic elements should an integral politics integrate?

Hi Brian,

I agree there is a tendency in integral political discussions to fall back on green sensitivities or a almost "reductive" analysis of value-systems in competition.  This leaves out several critical elements and creates a lot of faux-confusion and false puzzlements ("chaos").

I don't think Ron Paul has a real shot at the presidency but his popular resonance is certainly not integrated by most mainstream and even advanced political commentators.

I am concerned not only with pathological social engineering in the LR but also with what I would call the McLuhan problem & the Reich problem.

The McLuhan problem is that the broad masses of people are acting out (translative) shifts in their psyches which are caused by each modification of the media tools that we use.  We are not TV and Computer people who just happen to playing with iPhones & twitter... we are portable electronic citizens with a set of semi-conscious neuro-emotional responses which grow out of these interactions.  All in all we are increasingly electric people.

The Reich problem is the one associated with his book "The Mass Psychology of Fascism" -- which is that the actions of self-serving & even self-destructive cabals are empowered by the broad masses of people who, having acquired the implicit nihilistic attitudes associated with habits of emotional bio-pathology anchored in the unconscious are intentionally advocating things which are opposed to their interests.  We are always trying to elect Hitler in the sense of using our collective shadow to require sinister agents to act against our interests.

So I also add these to the Wilber problem of value-systems in competition along the Spiral.

And to all of that I would add one more thing -- which I have mentioned a few times in response to the "integral scenius" idea.  It is that our collectivity and empowerment as a we-space is not dependent just upon getting together, sharing, establishing consensus, etc. but upon delineating more advanced procedures for collating collective intelligence.

What I typically call SmartDemocracy is a post-conventional approach to synthesizing individual intelligence that is hinted at in books like "The Wisdom of Crowds".  Consensus and simple majority (like hereditary monarchy and oligarchy) are very limited means of eliciting individual wisdom, combining it, and translating into a decision.  As long as we do not upgrade to the best contemporary possibilities for ritual intelligence-combining then we will continue to empower sinister and chaotic social elements which are shown to thrive under exactly the kind of economic and socio-political structures that we currently permit to be the framework of society.

Neither the most sensible, nor the most radical, of candidates can transform the outcomes if they leave the means intact.
