About Me
I'm an active one...body, mind and soul. I have "chattering monkeys" in all aspects of my life. Though, I've befriended many of them. A few still keep me on my toes. Whether, it's an active mind during quiet times, regrets following actions or fear of failure prior to decisions. But, I (we) battle on.
I'm a man of simple things and simple needs. I believe in the importance of understanding the difference between a "want" and a "need." The proper use, understanding and application of these two concepts, I believe, would resolve most conflicts we encounter on a daily and global scale.
I'm a man of minimal wants, but sometimes expensive ones. I don't care to shop, I don't care to browse and I hate to make a spur of the moment purchases. I like bikes, climbing gear and tools. Things I can put in my hands and apply to good or pleasing use. I see no point in cell phones, mobile communications, instant internet, coffee, on every corner, 600 channel cable, 69inch TV's or paper thin computers. Don't bother me with the next cool thing, show me what's useful right now.
Supply me with something practical, applicable and sensible and you'll find one very happy Bryan.
I'm now a family man. My wife, Shauna and my daugher Hana provide me with daily inspiration, caring hearts, limitless compassion and a true sense of feeling loved. I wake up in the morning and think of them, just as I do "when I lay me down to sleep."
So, that's me. Everything else is just "the cherry on top."

Career
Currently:
- Integrallife.com: Web Developer
Previously:
- Teacher: I taught kids aged 2-17 in Japan, South Korea, Thailand and Cambodia.
- DoubleClick.com: I was an operations specialist and automation engineer (I wrote code.)
- Frasier Wellness Center: I was an exercise physiologist and program designer.
- CardioKinetics: I was a cardiac specialist and rehabilitation technician.
- NASA - Houston Space Center: I worked in the Life Sciences deparment and with the astronauts to determine the effects of weightlessness on the human body and publish results and/or work.
I've changed fields a variety of times, fighting the things that I'm good at, so I could do what I wanted. My mother was a teacher, as well as a casual programmer and Technology coordinator. My father worked with his hands, starting in the concrete business, then moving on to Dupont for 25 years as a technician.
Yet, I wanted to go into Healthcare. I spent alot of years and alot of money to get an education that I later learned was not what I would grow to love or be good at. I enjoy problem solving and instructing others. Computers and teaching allow me work with both of these pleasures....thus my current career and aspirations. "Mom's always right!"
