Integral Twitter Observations
Posted September 16th, 2009 by Carolyn Winter in Integral Twitter
During the last few months, I have joined the ranks of many self-employed coaches, healers and teachers who have joined Twitter. It's a noisy place!
The people who have been here a while use the lingo, style and frequency of posts with flair and gusto, and deep meaning. Others are like birds on a wire just watching.
So why did I go on Twitter?
Well, partly I am in awe of how rapidly the world is changing the structures of how we relate and communicate and how this is perhaps contributing to the rate of evolving consciousness as a result. Just the slow demise of the newspaper leaves me shocked. I recall a time when my day was not complete without reading the paper. Today however, news delivered on paper feels 8 hours out of date (which it is), antiquated, and jars my sense of honoring the environment.
I’d far sooner look at the online version of my local paper www.TheStar.com in THIS moment when I have a question about what is going on in the world NOW. The online version is updated almost by the minute.
Since my purpose of being on the planet is to spiral the world consciousness to a higher order –my full participation is key.
So after initially sitting quietly on the wire, now I am twittering my way to the new order and finding the integral perspective a useful tool to make my way through the quagmire!
What have YOU learned about being on Twitter?
Love to hear from you!
Carolyn
