About Me

I live in West Michigan, a very blue/orange territory. I have always felt like an alien from another planet here. Reading kw cleared things up for me about why I feel like an alien.

Education

1984 BS Western Michigan University/ started in Psychology but ended with degrees in Comparative Religion and Philosophy (Western was strictly Behaviorism at the time. I actually went to see Skinner as a guest-speaker there. The head of the department introduced him and had a hard time assigning any intrinsic merit to Skinner because, of course, it was merely a causal chain that brought him to that moment).

2005 BSN Grand Valley State University/ Nursing

Career

My previous career was in museum design (including co-designing the SPAM Museum)--now I am a nurse!

Hobbies and Interests

I am a painter. I love to sail and bicycle. I am on the National Ski Patrol.
