Christine McDougall

So, I simply say, what you can do personally is commit yourself to what is truth. That’s all. R. Buckminster Fuller

About Me

I am often described as very energetic, physical, passionate, blunt, direct, impatient, and inspirational.

I think of myself as being intelligent in the areas of intellect, human behaviour, analysis, intuition. My intelligence falls down when it comes to love.

I am very passionate, and live a life I love, in the place I love, working with incredible people. I feel very blessed.

I have extreme blonde moments, have a quick temper, enjoy my feistiness, have places where I am incredibly grounded and others where I am lost in the clouds.

I am a very committed athlete, and excel in ultra endurance events, especially long distance running. I also swim, snowboard, and dance when I can.

My idea of a great time is doing work I love (check), traveling the world (check), and going on great adventures that involve physical activities (check).

I have incredible friends all over the world, an amazing beautiful daughter, and a very adorable, stubborn little dog.

My number one teacher for the last 20 plus years has been and continues to be Buckminster Fuller.

Education

Background in the medical field-Bachelor Science, Chiropractic major. Since then, did pretty much any personal development course offered in the late 80's early 90's, coaching course 1997, now on my own eclectic PhD, which I imagine will be ongoing for ever. Think formal education is overrated. Don't think I could find a school and teachers in one place that would feed me. So have my own program-love it.

Career

Christine McDougalls expertise is in facilitating the navigation of high integrity, high performance leaders, politicians and people of influence, through the treacherous waters of political and corporate life, vigilantly supporting the maintenance of the very integrity and passion that inspired them to the leadership journey.

Christine believes that leaders who operate from a place of personal principle and integrity are desperately needed in all domains of life, and yet have to daily battle the existing systems that either say one thing and do the other, or operate from sneaky politics, sly back stabbing and an ~us or them~ mentality, or are simply not geared to operate within a high ethics, high flex, rapidly changing and increasingly transparent world.

Christine works with men and women to support them in staying in their own truth, finding alternative ways to live and work with their principles intact, within traditional organizationalstructures.

She has traveled extensively, particularly within North America, making the trip across the Pacific over 48 times.

Christine lives on the Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia, with her 21-year-old daughter Natalie. Beyond her work, Christine enjoys traveling, and outdoor activities, which include running, swimming and snowboarding. She has completed over 18 marathons and four ultra-marathons and an Ironman Triathlon.  Without a doubt, her endurance sport has contributed to her value as a coach, in the spiritual, physical, emotional and mental domains.

Hobbies and Interests

I read-currently everything from global economics and the money system, to all forms of spirituality, to high fashion, business, sport, food, sci-fi, pop culture

I run, long, by the beach or in the forest.

I swim, with a squad.

I snowboard when I can

I go to movies, more discerning now..

I eat in great little restaurants-love food, but especially Italian, carbs, and really quality deserts, chocolate, red wine.

I love to travel-anywhere, have been to the US over 48 times, lived in London, Fiji, etc.
