Google Wave Art Collaboration
I kicked off a cool little project over on Google Wave, and thought I'd invite you to come and play. The general idea is simple: scour the web for videos and movie scenes that clearly demonstrate various altitudes of development. The goal is to create a fun archive of clips that can be used to more easily introduce integral ideas to newcomers, drawing upon familiar moments in pop culture to communicate these ideas.
If you do not already have a Google Wave account and would like to participate, I have 10 invitations left that I could offer. The first 10 to request one in the comment field below will receive an invitation.
Here's the link to the wave. If it doesn't work for some reason, just enter this into your search field:
with:public "integral clip archive"
Have fun!
What is Google Wave?
Google Wave is an online tool for real-time communication and collaboration. A wave can be both a conversation and a document where people can discuss and work together using richly formatted text, photos, videos, maps, and more.
A wave is equal parts conversation and document. People can communicate and work together with richly formatted text, photos, videos, maps, and more.
A wave is shared. Any participant can reply anywhere in the message, edit the content and add participants at any point in the process. Then playback lets anyone rewind the wave to see who said what and when.
A wave is live. With live transmission as you type, participants on a wave can have faster conversations, see edits and interact with extensions in real-time.

Google Wave
Posted March 24th, 2010 by Christopher RomainThis is a great idea Corey! I would love to be added to the Google Wave project. I'm an artist myself, and I'm always interested in integral creative endeavors. A question: if an artist who is at a post-modern level of consciousness creates a music video that depicts red values, do we label it red, or green?

Cool! I have also embarked on producing a film collaboratively online. We are not using Google wave but I am intrigued to see how it works. I have also made a 2-hour film by collecting clips that illustrate each level of consciousness. I will have to post it to you, as bandwidth is an issue currently being resolved here in South Africa. Check out our film "Renaissance 2.0" being produced by the makers of The 11th Hour with Leonardo DiCaprio at www.intergralfilms.net. Perhaps we can collaborate?
