including the ordeals of both men and women lifts such a burdensome weight .. to recognize our together-arising thru the struggles and successes in moving forward with the ever changing times

we need to see that as ken says "patriarcharchies weren't created as a way to have a whole lot of fun at womens' expense .. it was a horrifying lifestyle for men to be responsible economically for their families and being thrown in poorhouses if they couldn't take care of it"

we need to recognize the incredible pressure of such a huge responsibility .. especially when there was no work to be found

or the only work available is in the coal mines where the conditions are making sick and killing your coworkers

or u are marched off to war to kill and be killed and if u refuse u are breaking the law
