narratives
roger mentions in this dialogue how struck he was when he first heard ken point out how in the early levels of religious view .. u have to believe certain narrative to be literally true .. the world was created in seven days .. god said let there be light
this is happening now with evolutionary spirituality .. a great flaring forth out of nothing .. a big fireball creating time and space as it unfurls .. and after billions of years and the emergence of pinwheeling galaxies and eventually the starburst supernova creating elements never before existing . and from it a special sun whose rotating disc becomes circling planets .. and on a shiny blue marble .. life .. and now . . .
at a certain level .. this story is believed to be literally true because it is what makes sense at this point
the leading edge creation story of the essential message we are growing and going somewhere and more keeps emerging

What are the stars?
Posted May 31st, 2011 by Jim ArsenaultDee,
The Lion King provides an archaic interpretation and a rational view of the stars, in the form of an interaction between Simon and Pumba, here: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0110357/quotes?qt=qt0371375
So, what are the stars? They do seem to change according to the view of the observer.
I heard recently that someone wrote (perhaps a book) suggesting that there have been 3 "Big Bangs": one of Matter, one of Life, and one of Mind. Perhaps also there are still Soul and Spirit "Big Bangs" to realize. So, what are the stars from a Soul or Spirit level of realization? I wonder...
