hi linda .. thx for asking me to share my experience at boulder integral on saturday .. thought i'd answer u here cuz i might go a wee bit over the 140 character tweet max

boulder integral is in a gorgeous elegant building with comfortable welcoming rooms .. it is more like a home than anything else .. the light of our hosts nomali and jeff  .. and of all my fellow integral geeks .. filled the space with the bliss of being and becoming

and then there is what brought us there to that moment ..the brilliance and eloquence of ken .. he sat there and spoke for over two hours and we were all spellbound and turned on and ready to go out into the world

he started with a bit of his own history .. how he had first considered being a doctor and quickly found out (at least in those days) a doctor was nothing more than a glorified plumber .. and when he found about allan watts .. krishnamurti .. aurobindo .. etc .. at his young ripe age in his early twenties .. he became enraged that he had lived his life to that point and nobody had told him about these ways of looking at what it means to be a human being

and he told his wife at the time that he was going to leave school and write a book about the soul and consciousness and stuff and she was all for it

he gave a summary of the few major transformations in human history leading up to the current integral one .. and of our responsibility to move this forward with both humility and divine pride

this a very very brief summary .. it is hard to describe how elevated we all became by his transmission .. i am ever grateful for the privilege and opportunity to have attended

Dear Dee

Many, many thanks.  Your generosity in sharing this is much appreciated. 

Your wonderful writing style lends itself on this occasion particularly to capturing lay-out, atmosphere, mood, sharing and inspiration.

You have shared little encapsulated snippets that have managed to so beautifully float my way.  I feel deeply privileged.

I managed to see some photos that were posted onto facebook and that also helped me to picture the event.

You write that “it is hard to describe how elevated we all became by his transmission”.  I have gathered from Anne, who was also there, that she seems to have had a similar experience to you.

Both of you have been so generous in sharing with me.  In some inexplicable way I feel touched by the event.
