thousand-layered tree

makes sense that things are getting better and things are getting worse because an expanding kosmos would expand in all directions

excellent case for the integral view that systems theory can't see a frog .. and that a frog can't see systems

and oh that magnificant ever-evolving tree .. what it is to a scientist .. a backpacker .. a lumberjack .. a bird .. an ant .. a dear .. i love the way sean said a tree is a thousand layers

speaking of frogs

two old hunters, bob and tom, walk thru the woods .. "did u hear that?" bob asks as he heads towards the voice he hears to find a frog sitting on a log .. "kiss me" says the frog to bob "and i will turn into a gorgeous woman and make all your wildest sexual fantasies come true"

bob picks up the frog .. holds it up to his face and takes a good look at it .. then puts it in his pocket

"kiss the frog!" tom exclaims excitedly

bob replies "naw at our age, a talking frog is much more interesting"
