Creation of a currency to help build the integral community

Your clarifying questions remind me of my tendency to be scattered, to ride to the four winds simultaneously.  Let me try to focus in.  What it means is that there is reason to believe that complementary currency systems, developed alongside the standard legal tender of our national governments, can help strengthen our local economies, particularly in difficult times such as these.  A complementary currency system could be developed within an integral community, i.e. "local" to that community, even though the integral community is a global one.  I don't know exactly how it would work, other than that I believe with the internet, tools are already available to facilitate the development of complementary currency systems.
