3 types of therapy
Posted October 8th, 2009 by Eli Mead
In Reference to:
State Pathologies and the Three Kinds of SelfHe mentions 3 types of therapy, yet I only cognated two: therapeutic work and transformative work. What am I missing, or what is he leaving out?

Hi Eli
Posted January 17th, 2010 by Jeremy HopeI listened to it again and heard him mention that all 3 selves were needed: the false self, the actual self, and the real self. I believe you are correct with the two therapies for: a) moving false self to actual self and, b) moving the false or actual self to the real (transcendent) self. Hope this was helpful!
Peace!

real self?
Posted October 9th, 2009 by steven martinihow can we call it 'real' if we consider it an acquisition?
this is the paradox my mind does not want to accept
is the real self real or just an ideal?
when i ask my self who's asking
i understand the question
and i understand
how to understand
what is unreal
