Random observation from a Security Officer
After trolling these blogs and others peppered throughout the net that have caught my fancy, I have noticed a tendency for new peoples' on-line personalities (eGO's) in an online community to establish themselves in a grandiose manner with one to five posts of great eloquence (like I did and rather pithy I might add) and then in general, kind of troll as I do from post to post with sporadic and safe postings (like this one) of a neutral, non-committal nature for the most part. This is a very general observation but a phenomenon none the less that I noticed (as that is what I do for a living) that I also think warrants a closer look (Shadow?). I tracked nine random person's blogs (the names of which will remain anonymous) and out of the nine tracked to their initial posting, seven fit the profile as described above. Yeah. I have a lot of time on my hands. This job is feast or famine, I tell you.
Anyhoo, just a curious note for what it's worth.
Be well,
Erik

And as an aside...
Posted May 22nd, 2009 by Erik StittThe most prolific bloggers with the most meaty content and food for thought and definitely not afraid to push the edge of controversy for the sake of the persuit of truth, Schalk and Barbi Hammond on this site win it hands down. But....for over all proliferation and content exposure as well as having a formidable opinion and many an altruistically contentious bone, I am talking of none other than the globally known and seemingly everywhere at once ~C4Chaos. It is amazing to me that he is not a larger voice on this site although he does have a membership. My guess is that he is busy with his staff schedules over at the GAIAM site.
