A Catholic priest and a Zen teacher in the Sanbo-kyodan lineage
Education
Typical Catholic education and seminary theological training. Started Zen under Bob Aitken Roshi, then with Willigis Jaeger Roshi who is my teacher. Also studied with Kubota Roshi and Yamada Roshi.
Career
Spiritual director, then Zen and contemplation teacher. Currently leader of the East-West Meditation Program at Mercy Center in Burlingame, CA (Bay Arear). Oh, yea... forgot: author of "Listen To The Desert".
