"When you are struck by something that is the real you." Suzuki Roshi

I'm a professional geographer in the field of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and have been for 20 years.  My MA is in geography though my undergraduate studies at the University of Iowa were in philosophy, history, and religion which led me to a Bachelor's of General Studies.  I was first introduced to Ken Wilber in 1983 when a dear friend of mine - now deceased - came across "The Spectrum of Consciousness" and could not praise and re-read it enough.  So, I have followed Ken Wilber's thought provoking journey since then.  I love "No Boundaries" and will probably always admire Ken most for writing "Grace and Grit", a book I re-read periodically.

I now live in Denver working as a GIS Developer for SAIC in support of the USGS.  Besides ILP and the brilliance of Buddhist thought, my other passion is haiku poetry and the pursuit of "haiku mind."

Peace
