About Me

I have been involved in the Integral Institute from the very beginning. I was part of the Integral Business Branch, including a task force on leadership, as well as the Integral Medical Branch and, later, the co-lead for the Integral Christian Ministry Center. I created curriculum and taught at almost all of the Integral Leadership seminars, co-created and co-led a series on Integral Art and was a part of the formation of the Integral Spiritual Center as well. I am also a teacher at the Integral Spiritual Experience and the co-author of "The Next Half-Step: An Integral Approach to Leadership" that is currently being reviewed at SUNY Press. I am on the editorial review board and have also contributed several articles to the Journal of Integral Theory and Practice.

I am also a Benedictine oblate of Mt. Angel Abbey and a Eucharistic Minister. I have served on church vestries, on monastic advisory boards and have served as a spiritual and organizational counselor to numerous religious organizations, as well as to individual ordained, professed and lay people.

Education

I am a second-year seminarian at Seattle University's School of Theology and Ministry working on my MDiv as a part of my on-going formation as a Postulant for Holy Orders in the Episcopal Church, working toward ordination as a priest.

Career

Integral Development Associates, a company I formed with my good friends and partners, Dr. Bert Parlee and Paul Landraitis, continues to offer organization and leadership development, and executive counseling for organizations all over the world. You can see more at www.integraldevelopment.com. Since 2000, we have used integral theory and methodology (explicitly or implicitly) to advise organizational leadership and management of all sizes and market sectors, for-profit and not-for-profit, in areas ranging from culture change and organization/congregation development to leadership development and strategic thinking.
