Great Stuff
As a non-addict, I had the honor of spending a few days late last year with John, learning first hand about Integral Recovery and its value--not only for addicts, but any one interested in adopting and strengthening their own integral practice. We went through a three day ILP (Integral Life Practice) routine very similar to what he outlines here (and on his website), taking a truly AQAL approach to well-being. Holosync meditation, rigorous physical exercise, organic eating and nutritional supplements, shadow work and a nut-and-bolts Integral Theory education were the pillars of my experience with John ... and it was remarkable! This is a much-needed approach to sobriety and overall well-being. Whereas many addiction treatments provide very little in replacement of the addiction (even daily meetings aren't enough, more often than not), Integral Recovery offers an all-quadrant approach, where the addiction is replaced with healthy, powerful, state-changing activities/practices that address the most important developmental lines. Keep up the great work, John.
