Integral Politics- One Person, One Vote, One WMD

Although Ken's discussion regarding this is simply terrific, though occurring some time ago, what can we say about the hope of an integral politics regarding issues of national security?  Certainly, the level of orientation for radical Islam is what we're wrestling and we've yet to get an upper hand.

Simply reacting to violence isn't enough.  Let's not be naive and think we should simply allow the West to be victimized.  We need strong and sure response.   We also need to plant seeds of democracy to assist emerging societies (well- we can  hope).  Yet, this often has been criticized as regime building or simply  meddling.  We can not afford to ignore these issues.   We have a couple of World Wars behind us as lessons about isolationism.
