Kashmir Shivism
So Shiva is the part of us that most are refering to when they say that we only use less that 10% of our brain ? Much less in most cases it would seem. I have been waiting for someone to explain Kashmir Shivism to me for a long time. Thank you so much for a marvelous presentation.
I had just recently finished reading Bryant's work on the Yoga Sutra's and it seemed to be biased towards the idea of discarding Prakriti entirely as she is the embodiment of the gunas and thus Samsara. The dancing Mohini. Which is actually the only female incarnation of Vishnu as well as a consort of Shiva. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mohini Which we transcend by dispensing with Tamas at the bottom, then Rajas, and then finally Sattva at the top since it is the embodiment of illumination itself. Once Purusha and the Supreme Ultimate come face to face, Ken's 1:1 place of being so to speak, it becomes absorbed into what Patanjali viewed as Ishvara. Who's very presence is revealed via Chiti/Shakti. In the same manner as Uma is the Knowledge of Brahman in the Upanishads. The wikipedia link revealed to me how "tesseractical" it all is. To use a mathematical term. Maybe Mr. Wolfram will pat me on the back someday. New Kind of Science ? Lots of that going around nowdays. Which I also continue to view as Bhoga in its experiential sense.
Since my Buddhist understanding is somewhat weak I was wondering if Dharma Megha and SamBhogaKaya were identical places of development from fairly different perspectives ?
