It is the awareness of consciousness that emerges after an indeterminate amount of time. Yet, in reality consciousness is the underlying thread at every instant in the evolutionary process. And every instant is eternal. Thus time is an illusion. And where there is no time there can be no process. Therefore evolution is also an illusion. Of course I can only make that observation because I have evolved to the appropriate level of awareness to do so. Or so it seems. At least that’s what I am conscious of at the moment. But then again who am I to say?
