About Me
New England is my home, and life is lovely here. I did a detour to Chicago for five years in the 70's for medical edyoomication at Northwestern, and I still love the blues in my sleep. I've been inhaling Ken Wilber's work since 1990, when a colleague introduced me to No Boundary. I practiced psychiatry in Providence, RI, from 1980 to 2006, and co-led two clinical seminars at Brown medical, one on hypnosis for fourth-year psychiatry trainees (1986-2005) and one for the community on spiritual issues in my profession (1991-2004.)
I jumped into the Integral community in Boulder in 2004 for the Integral Psychotherapy Seminar, and returned for Father Keating's course in 2006. The warm embrace, creative inspiration, wry humor, and sparkling intellectual challenges of the Integral we-space are all dear to me. Willow Pearson in particular on the teaching staff was a wonderful inspiration, truly outstanding. I am also indebted to Mary Hostetter and Edith Friesen for care and guidance. Currently I am integrating AQAL principles into centering prayer and dowsing, publishing and performing poetry, and enjoying the gnarly slopes when snow appears.

Deepest gratitude for every one of you in the Integral community who have nurtured my interior creative vision in so many ways from day one. It doesn't get any better than this.
May 2011: Hot off the presses! Pulled In to Providence. Also embarking on a Wilbereiad: Started reading Ken's collected works on May 20, 25 pages a day. Stay posted. We'll see if I can get through.
