Is the Unity approach to the Integral in the LR or AQAL?
I, too, am a former Unity Church member. I left for several reasons, but among them was a lack of intellectual depth. I find that in Integral Spirituality, but I miss the "we". When I started this blog I intended to ask if any of the 15 churches were in the Los Angeles area. Then it occurred to me that I should check the Unity web site. I was a bit disappointed to find that they appeared to be more about taking an integral approach to church growth than bringing the Integral approach to their congregation's spirituality. If anyone reading this blog is aware that I misinterpreted what I read and that there is a Unity group, I would be truly delighted to be corrected.

AQAL?
Posted February 1st, 2010 by Cindy WigglesworthDear Julie
While it's a work in progress for sure - and we will learn in that fun dynamic way we learn when we are trying something new - the effort is to be AQAL. All quadrants, all lines, all levels, all states, all types. Our goal is to create a healthy sustainable future for Unity which provides that beautiful "conveyor belt" that Ken talks about. LR is a weak point in many progressive churches - where the focus in often heavy on the interior dimensions of I and We. Not sure what you read - but that might explain what you were hearing...an effort to strengthen systems as part of this 3 year effort. Stay tuned...
