About Me
I wanted to be known as a Scholar-Lay-Practitoner of Tibetan Buddhism. Unfortunately, life has had other plans. I am now mostly known for my successful (so far) fight against ALL (Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia). It took multiple rounds of Chemo, plus two Blood Stemcell Transplants(fka, bone marrow transplant). I also acquired a bone disease from the BMT treatments called AVN (Avascular Necrosis), in which my bones do not receive adequate blood (oxygen) and the die. Eventually the bones collapse causing extreme pain and need for a joint replacement.
I have tried to maintain my Buddhist practice throughout, but must admit I have not been doing very well lately and I am striving to get it back. I know that it sustained me throughout my cancer battle. I just got tired, beat down. I now want to move on to a new chapter, which will include Tibetan Buddhism and ILP.
