Courage and Clarity in the face of Complexity, Agility for Continuous Change and Growth, Peaceful Minds to sustain Paradox, and a Vision of All Things Connected.

I started my long career in media in high school as a cameraman in the local broadcast television station in Tyler, Texas. Through out my long career in broadcast television production, advertising agency client service, corporate communications, point of sale training, and even documentary and music video work, I have been a careful watcher and analyzer of media.

In addition to my media experience, I had the good fortune to be involved in a revolution in the American Psychological Association legitimized by The Association for Humanistic Psychology. In the seventies and eighties, I trained full time for eight years in one-to-one, group, and community training scenarios. My mentors and family were Dr. Leland Johnson and Maryanne Merksamer. We also brought to Houston for events some of the master teachers in Humanistic Psychology: Jean Houston, Karl Pribram, Frank Rubenfeld, Ilana Rubenfeld, Eric Marcus, Jean Houston, Lenard Orr, and many others.

In retrospect, I have always had the temperment of an artist, looking at the world with curiosity and sensitivity—sometimes, so much that the beauty of nature overwhelms me. Sometimes, the pain of fellow humans causes me to withdraw into myself until I remember that life's meaning is about Experiencing and Collaborating in a great episodic adventure. Then, I become the passionate enquirer and look for the next issue to investigate.
