Gestalt
This is familiar to me as Gestalt process. I thought it was strange that they did not acknowledge the lineage of this process???

LINEAGE DOES COUNT
Posted March 12th, 2010 by Pam MaccabeeHi. Understand your desire for credit to go where credit is due. I do believe that one can be clear that an approach is not a truly personal invention. I think that THIS can be done even when one cannot possibly cite all those who contributed to the development of a technique or practice. I, too, recognize this as a Gestalt technique...and perhaps Perls alone originated it.
I think there must be shortcut phrases we can use to indicate that one or more persons developed what we promote. I rave about and promote the practice of and skills of emotional discharge...but don't give credit to those who taught me its value - only because presently they prefer that I not do that. I have mixed feelings about that and often indicate in some way the fact that I can't take the credit for discovering the enormous value of emotional discharge.
Some day I will praise the source publicly to the highest of heavens.
And if you are new here, WELCOME. This is the place to be....even if you, like me, can visit only every few days.
Warmly, Pam

He Does
Posted March 11th, 2010 by Jennifer GroveI do believe Ken does acknowledge it in SES or Integral Spirituality or both.
The amount of bandwidth that would be necessary to hold the credits of all the sources that have added value to Ken's work would be more than any collection of servers could hold. He does his best in text, but seriously. You have NO idea how much stuff this man has synthesized.
