Objective Measurement of Integral progress
Posted July 9th, 2010 by Kim Lowles
As part of my transpersonal and consciousness studies I am asked to engage in experiential learning. I am using integral to do this. Subjective measurement of progress is easy but how would you suggest I gain objective measurement for my studies?

Hi Kim
Posted July 9th, 2010 by shamansunSubjective is a bit easier, because you can relay your personal experiential changes. Objective? Well in what way would you like to measure objective changes? Exterior behavior? Lifestyle changes? etc.
It's a bit trickier since you are also the subject learning. Behavior, diet, and other more physical and "fact" oriented things might be a good way to balance the subject with the object.
For example sleep cycles might influence your subjective experiences, as there are different melatonin levels, etc depending on how well you slept and when you woke up. Not sure if that's useful!
