How the different Spiral dynamics vMemes see each other

Inspired by this, I made this 8x8 element matrix where all vMemes view on each other and themselves are illustrated.

Clever layout - one could study this for some time.

a tish of the ol' feedback

Hey, I really enjoyed this.  I especially enjoyed each colour's view of itself (Tom Cruise, Gandhi, etc.)

Judging from American Conservative rhetoric I would suspect that Green seems a little more sinister to Blue than the wantonly goofy figure of Pee-Wee Herman.

The other one that felt a little flat for me was Wittengstein as the Green view of Turquoise.  I think there may be a more overtly mystical-pop-culture-yogic-saint image that could work here.  I think green can recognize a bit of the multi-dimensional energetic quality which is not really symbolized by old Ludwig... even though he thinks into what cannot be thought.

Cheers.

Thanks, I've been...

How to make your own Spiral dynamics matrix :-)

Thank's for input!

Well, there are 64 squares and I'm not completely satisfied with all of them. One of my friends think that everything above the diagonal should be blurred since it's hard if not impossible to make out since it is more complex than the respective cognitive capacity can handle.

Another issue is cultural bias, I'm from Sweden so I might have a slightly different view of the levels than you - although I consider myself heavily influenced by American pop culture, e.g. Tom Cruise and Montgomery Burns that I feel pretty well captures Orange and Green views on orange. :-)

Green view on Turquoise is hard since both are quite multidimensional. That is a pretty anti-spiritual view of both Green and Turquoise and I agree that a more spiritual alternative could fit here as well.

Anyway, if you have better suggestions feel free to replace and insert your own alternatives! Here is a link to the word-document I used:  http://fication.se/wp-content/uploads/2011/12/SD-matrix.docx On page 2 you have corresponding in text format.

It would be fun to see everyone do their own versions. Maybe we could vote for the best one. :-)

v(isualizing)Memes

Okay, here is a slightly modified version of your grid.

The more one tinkers, the more problematic (option-filled) it becomes.

Almost all male, both our charts.  I could probably pull off a pretty good female one but it would take longer than I have at the moment.
